                                                      Consultant-Contract positions for various companies and agencies performing general human resources and labor relations that included:
                                                      • Recruitment, selection and termination of employees by pre-screening applicants by telephone, face-to-face interviews, using the Outlook email program to track applicants, conducted background investigations, and conducted new employee orientations
                                                      • Other assignment/duties consisted of writing job ads and placing ads with various advertisers, developing job classifications, writing job descriptions and researching salary guides
                                                      • Processed payroll using the Job Clock and Pay Window Payroll systems. Also use Great Plains software to manage accounting records

                                                      Staff Instructor from December 2002 to February 2005. Developed a five-course certificate program for new loan officers on: Fundamentals of Mortgage Lending, Loan Servicing, Truth and Lending, Fundamentals of Secondary Mortgage Lending, Loan Processing, Appraisal, and Underwriting Review. The courses were a combination of online instruction using automated desktop applications such as Dash Board and tradition classroom instruction. The course instruction hours were three hours per week and the lab period was two hours per week. The student was instructed on the use of software such as Calyx and dashboard to originate residential mortgage loans, how to organize a loan file, interact with account representatives from various wholesale lenders, how to read a credit report, how to read an appraisal, and how to critic supporting documents such as pay stubs, 1099s, and income tax records.

Wrote and presented a lecture on "The Basics of Sleep and Dreams" for an undergraduate college-level Human Services course. There was also a discussion on Sleep Disorders.                                                       Student Lecturer 1998-1999. November 1998, wrote and presented a lecture on "Sleep and Stress" for a graduate-level course in Individual Theories and Techniques of Counseling. This was a traditional classroom setting. October 1998, wrote and presented a lecture on "Legal and Ethical Concerns and Issues in Employee Testing and Employment Laws" for a graduate-level course in Appraisal Procedures for Counselors. This was a traditional classroom setting. January 1997, wrote and presented a lecture on "Process Consultation" for a graduate-level course in Program Evaluation. This was a traditional classroom setting.

                                                      Watts Health Foundation, Los Angeles, California
                                                      Professional duties at Watts Health Foundation included: Staff Instructor for the student radiologic technology program from 1969 to 1972. Courses taught: radiographic physics, anatomy and radiographic positioning. This activity occurred in a traditional classroom setting. Professional duties also included working as a staff Radiologic Technologist performing general radiography, mammography, computerized topography (CT), and special procedures.
